Yeah. Its reproductable. Get no error message. It happens after the time the message "congrats, you've won" pops up. Possibly its to do with the row of 4 turrets that appear then or that there's usually a large enemy count around that point. Although when it crashed tonight there wasn't many enemies on the screen.
I have worked out that if I click on a new browser tab then click back the the game tab the game continues for 1 second then halts again. I can continue clicking on the tabs alternately till the tank is killed and I can put a score in. When it eventually returns to the menu screen it works fine again. So the game doesn't actually crash, it freezes.
Its not a memory leak either. Checked that.
Have a top score now but I found to continue scoring enough I had to drop back a few levels to avoid the game crashing/freezing.
anyhoo. Still loving this game. Can't wait for what lies ahead.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm guessing its an issue with just too much stuff happening. I'havent actually played until the end myself for a while, so I havent seen it myself. In the next update, I'll try and have that fixed.
- Soldiers now occationaly roll on the ground
- Paratroopers!
- Trying out a new style on the hovertank
- More comperhensive pickup interaction
- More comperhensive mortar ammo UI
Note that leveldesign and scores are not balanced.
@osk - bossfights would be cool. Ill do that later. Though I think ill need to add a couple of other enemies first.
hi oskar you got some nice update here... but i had some graphics issues
also if you like to hear some critique - i liked the (old) colors _ yellow for energy and the blue shots from the fortresses ...
Oops. What we see here is actually the WEBGL-shaders not being used, and just the textures being passed on normally. I dont know what causes this, but restarting the browser sometimes works.
This causes many textures to show up red because they look like that before i manipulate them with a HSV shader.
Thought the paratroopers were a great idea, but they were just too annoying when they all massed and landed right next to the line you just crossed.
Or I could be bad at the game
They are supposed to be a bit messy, but they might very well be too much so. If they land to close to the back line, then i will fix that. They are yet to be properly balanced.
To all of you: thanks for your support and dont forget to submit your scores!
- Soldiers are more stable. Tey should now never walk on the spot or walk backwards.
- Rpgs take longer to fire agian.
- Paratroopers are fewer and land further from the defense line.
- Fixed the not-bobbing bug on the pickups.
- Made pickup animation not effected by slomo.
This is sooooo much fun! Can't you just double the rate of fire???... pleaaassseeeeee!!!!
My goal is to add upgrades that you can buy with score/money. One of those are gonna make you shoot faster. Hopefully thats what the next update is gonna be about.

Im using a paid version. The one for 98, or something like that. But the free version can doo everything the paid version can, just less of it.
I just made a few tweaks, both cleaning up the "code" and adjusting to some feedback from you guys. No screenshot material though.
