I've known about it for quite some time but i have been doing alot of research lately and came across a site called shapeways.com.
Wondering if any can vouch for them?

They're pretty all right depending on what you're printing. The ZCorp printers don't handle detail very well, if you're thinking of printing statues. I haven't had anything from them personally, but I know some people that have.
