Well, the team is very excited to be a part of this competition. We've been working away on some key concepts and with that done now, posts should be fairly regular. Good luck everyone, already seeing some great stuff!
Concepts/Reference so far:
The main scene/area for our escape involves Madame Bonbon and Houdini the Portly Puss. The idea being to freeze frame the characters midst one of Houdini's escape attempts. Our main shot involves the classic blanket rope tied off on the balcony rail, Houdini in the middle of his descent and Madame Bonbon bursting through the patio doors. If time permits we have ideas for extra renders of Houdini's other attempts which harken back to famous escapes from film or reality for example, The Great Escape's tunnel.

I took the time this week to add some patio furniture and a small environment behind the doors since the bumpoffset used on the rest of the windows didn't hold up upon closer inspection.
The rest of the team should be finishing up shortly so I hope to have some more to show you all soon.
