Vray - Objects not showing in Frame buffer

Hey guys, really new to Vray but i have run into a small snag. I have a scene that has a bunch of objects all with the same lambert applied, and when i try to render in Vray only a very few of them actually show up, the others dont appear at all. Its just black. And its not like they are not lit because they dont block any of the objects that do show up.

But! when i break it down and open each object individually i have no issues like this... can anyone help?

try applying a Vraymat to them,just standard grey will do

I could'nt find the Vraymat material but i tried doing Vray mtl, no luck. Sorry i didn't mention this before but im using Maya 2013

is the vrayformaya.mll turned on inside plugin manager. VrayMat = Vray mtl
Try applying a vray rect light, then rerender again. If it still doesnt work. Check to see the normals are fine on the objects.
