Senior 3D Artist required!
This is a once in a life time opportunity to join one of the most ambitious start-ups in the games industry. Founded by established industry experts, this company are now looking to secure the services of a talented, passionate 3D Artist to visualise their world to the next level of evolution.
Working closely with the Art Director, this is a pivotal role with a defining contribution to make to a world-class game experience. An exceptional communicator, you will be experienced in mentoring staff and responsible for delegating and managing outsource, ensuring the highest quality bar is maintained within the right timescales.
Primarily with an environment focus in the realistic dark fantasy genre, we are looking for an expert-level, well-rounded generalist able to multi-task demands for a wide variety of game assets including character and props. You should have a foundation in traditional art ability, able to convey your vision from sketching and concepting through to the final AAA realistic artwork production.
With brand new state of the art offices in Dublin, the focus is hard-core F2P MMO setting a new standard of AAA quality artwork in this sector. Having secured significant and high-profile financial backing, the founders have a history of building successful teams within games and are amongst the industry’s most influential entrepreneurs. The seamlessly cross-platform vision is one of the most aspirational and technically demanding goals under endeavour.
Requirements:-
· Highly experienced game artist on multiple titles and in a variety of genres (photo-realistic, fantasy, sci-fi etc.)
· An impressive portfolio showing a broad range of art styles and characteristics including solid 2D work
· Exceptional texturing and rendering and world-class environments
· Mentoring experience
· Outsource management
· They are a MAYA studio but can accept skills in 3DSMAX or other packages
· Art work for cross-platform or an MMO a bonus
· Ideal candidates will love playing and creating MMO, RTS, RPG, FPS, type games
