Hi there, I'm about to starting my sketchbook.
Recently I'm working on this slightly stylized male brute - my goal is to deepen my experience on the fields of SSS, compositing and fibers. Hereby I've posted three images from the oldest test-render to the newest one.
The facial hair is not so good, I have to work on that. The eyebrows are too thick, too many fibers are there. In fact, the eyebrows contains surprisingly few individual pieces of fibers IRL.
I've used no reference images in the creation process but I didn't want too realstic look anyway - I wanted to catch an overall character.
I'll appreciate any suggestions, thoughts, comments and critiques! Thank you, and good work to you all!
