Hello, new poster here. I have heard a lot about this site, and thought that I would post for some feedback on this project I've been working on for my portfolio. It's called Oriental Shotgun based on the
original concept of the same name by Keunju Kim if you guys want to check it out.
The reason why I liked the concept so much is because of the style and also the way it was broken up so it was easier to measure out the shapes of the gun. My goal was to get as close of a match to the original concept as I could, making a first person shooter quality gun. In this particular project, the quality of the texture was my priority. Some of the difficulties I encountered include: trying to keep the tri count down, deciding when it was worth spending an extra 1.5x the time for 20% improvement, and figuring out the details in an 'ok' resolution concept. Feedback and suggestions on how to improve are welcome. Enjoy~
