Its up! Finally got the bugger done and working in game. I needed some animation polish and Mop helped out. Big thanks to Thiago for all the import/setup help!
Because I am stubborn and wanted to do the whole animation/model/export thing from 3dsmax I had some help at valve. Thanks to Andy for listening to me and passing the files on to Robin, who updated the dota 2 compiler so that the Max pipeline now works for animations and models!
I have a write up in the works so that other people can have an easier time with the process.

ps. That's probably to late, however pig could benefit if her flying version would have opened eyes.
anim video for walks is up thanks to mop! Konras if I had enough polys I would have definitely given the pig eyes.
