Hey all, here's the first rough sketch for my entry. I don't have the time to create a full environment scene, so I'm trying to keep things simple by sticking to a character sculpt.
The inspiration is of a modern Prometheus breaking away from the chains of technology. I was influenced by the sculptures of both Scott Eaton and DLSHANG.
The idea that's difficult to represent in the initial rough out is that where the torso meets up with the "television" it will transition from a mass of pixels into a proper human torso. So all the sketchy debris flying away is largely mean to be pixels too.
I like the idea of combing some classical sculpture elements along with some more abstract design. Ive still got more I'd like to refine with the concept though so we'll see where it goes form here!
