Sup guys, was wondering if there was a reason why sometimes shift(90 degree snaps) doesn't work in ZBrush. Am I doing something silly? or does it just not work under certain conditions, or is it bugged? I'm using ZBrush 4R5.
Some of the actions I'm talking about is rotating, drawing in tools(in 2.5d mode), etc. Thanks.

As for scaling down with transpose, it will start to scale back up if you drag the cursor past the end of the transpose circles. If it's scaling far too slowly for your liking then it might relate to the size of your mesh, so unifying it or using the size deformation might be needed first.
edit: just tried sizing it down and it worked like a charm. thanks again. if anyone knows anything about the angle snaps, that'd be most appreciated. i sometimes sit there with rotate on hitting shift, rotate, shift, rotate, over and over again until it finally snaps.
Might try this script for snapping to an axis. It could help.
