The reason why I didn't render the dancing character with the textures & shaders was basically to concentrate more on watching the mesh deformations during the cloth simulation... I made the choice there to render the animation with a real simple color, because I felt it would be more confortable to see how the simulation applies to an animated mesh, with collisions involved. That's what I felt I'd like to do with this piece; Instead of adding textures and colors that would "hide" (a little) the magic...
I'm sure there are a lot of better solutions to present that type of work, and as we're all in a constant learning process I'm sure we will continue this conversation further
Unfortunately, I'm working on way to much projects right now to be able to come again with an other version of this... I hope it's okay, but yeah I agree, choices are hard
