Monowheel

Hey guys, I havent posted much on here at all and finally got the balls to post a work in progress of mine (and drop the pride to ask for some advice 
).
I am currently working on a monowheel model heavily influenced by a creation on a certain episode of Scrapheap Challenge (I think its similar to Junkyard Wars in the US). I still have the exhaust to stick on this thing and maybe some smaller details, and Im thinking about bringing it into Zbrush to get some of the worn details on this thing.

Now being the fantastically experienced guys I know you all are, are there any pointers you could give me to get this looking great? Give it to me in the fullest
(Im planning to make a low-poly version later as practice for game-asset building and texturing).
