I've learned a few different techniques for doing this, but was wondering what the professionals in the industry use? I aim to work in the game industry so I'd like to know what techniques are most often used.
Currently I can make plants and vegetation via alpha maps, paint effects in maya, and using onyx. What to the pros use primarily?
