I'm currently spending some of my lunch breaks working on an accurate, high detail Tyrrell P34. Its nothing more than an exercise, and this thread is just for showing progress and getting feedback.

I have most of the suspension figured out. I might have to invest time with a rig for it to make posing the car easier, but for now I just need to model some more of the basics.

I'm having trouble getting the cockpit shape correct, so I'm starting over today and I'll update when I have something to show. Unfortunately, I'm lacking references of the rear interior and exterior of the cockpit, so I'm having to eye-ball and infer parts of the car.

Still, here is progress so far. Feedback welcome.

Started work on the cockpit, still very blockout at the moment. Will smooth out the mirror covers tomorrow.

Also sunk the sidepod panel screws into bodywork.

To anyone who has no idea what this car is, a quick reference:

Nice start :) You've captured all the main forms so far, but one thing I did notice straight away was on the front wing: the curvature of it is a little bit off, I think the apex of the curve needs to be a tad higher.

But great start so far- will keep an eye out for updates! :)
