Over the last four years Alex Negrea has taught himself to become a fantastic artist. And this is how he did it
7-8am lovecastle60 drawings 1 hour
8-9 online live practice
10-5 work "Game Loft"
6pm till late more practice every day :)

These were my notes,

Accepting failure
Using reference
Creating a schedule (and following the schedule)
Repetition – low castle another picture, gesture studies,
120 seconds
http://lovecastle.org/draw/
Relevant studies
Observation – take notes of your studies
Variation – try and doing things outside of your comfort
zone, real life, fantasy, weapons, fashion, life drawing, cartoon, user interface,
icons, logos, bugs, fantasy bugs,
Connecting the dots – google sketch up,
Experimenting – drawing random stuff – using filters –
Entering contests -
Sharing your knowledge – don’t think holding onto
information will make you better or that your fellow artist will become better,
that thought process will not allow you to grow.
Optimization -http://www.razerzone.../razer-nostromo
Lin Ran – RGB
Working out
Promoting yourself – add you blog/website link on everything
you do.
