Im having this problem in unity where everything bleaches out white when baked.
I have no idea what is causing it.

Are you using free or Pro?
Are you sure your lights just...arent way too strong? If your using pro are you messing with the GI settings a bunch?

Im using pro, my light is set the the default values as well as the light baker settings.
if the light was too strong i would see all the shadows wouldn't i? not just 1 or 2?

I just changed the bounce settings down to 0 and it works. weird how it works fine with them on in another scene but not in this one. could the scale of the world have something to do with it?

Yes, it's very likely. Unity expects 1 unit in Unity to equal 1 metre in "real life" terms.
Things like the physics engine have that scale hard-coded. I imagine the lighting system does, too.

Ahh yea...scale definitely matters with lighting..especially when your dealing with bounce lighting/GI.
