, I've run into this problem a couple times now... What happens is that I'll build surface noise which looks great until I apply it to the mesh. The whole thing either inflates or deflates beyond recognition.
I get the impression it is a glitch because it's quite random. But when I go back into the editor and change some values, it alters the distortion but I can't remedy it.
The mesh has no layers, no multiple subdivision levels, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this?
