Cool, I think it started because a group did it and everyone else felt left out or thought they could 1up it and it became a thing on it is own.
Some of them are surprisingly cool, the honda/ford or whatever motor company joining in and all the basketball teams, ect, ect. They spoke to the people who live in Harlem and Harlem disapproves of this being called what it is.
