ESCAPE - Asylum Dream
Yo! TortillaChips, KJ* and I have teamed up for this challenge.
Our entry is based around the idea of an asylum patient losing their mind. The asylum cell will be breaking up in front of them, revealing a world created by the patients imagination.

So the first moodboard is a range of things I like and could bring to the character. I'm picturing very wide eyes, worn eyes, perhaps tired, a bit crazed. Our first image you won't see it but for the second one I hope that the eyes will stand out, a bit like the Afghan girl (top right). The other images are a mix of things such as head shape, proportions, hair style, the texture of the hair, sweat on face etc. The hair and face should be a bit unkempt. Getting the sweat right will be a challenge cause I suck at specular maps. The face expression I want is kind of initial despair/dismay/shock, and I'll have to keep trudging through all the fake stock images to get some more references of these.
The appearance will be that of a patient at an asylum, with a straightjacket. Bare legs probably, if not just bare feet. I am looking towards the detail and skill of richithekiller as his character's clothes is the kind of thing I want to aim for.
