Hey everyone, after a couple of setbacks of working on my first set i realised i had to go back for some more learning but since this weekend i'm finally making progress again, yay!
Thank you hopgood, i actually feel that way everytime i take a look into this forum, no matter which hero, there are just so many talented people here!
Hey guys, I've been able to get all items to stick perfectly on SK except for the tail - and I've been failing at it for two days now and I'm running out of ideas what else I could try...
I pulled all the connection vertices of my tail to the position of the original ones as well as copied the exact same values for their weights - on his right side it seems to work more or less, on his left though..
Maybe someone here has encountered similar problems already and has an idea what i could be doing wrong?
Hey guys! just a quick update, been busy with a lot of stuff lately... Finished the LOD0 and LOD1 topo as well as textures for now (with room for improvement as always) - so, here you go:
kendmd we actually discussed the same issue when doing the promo pose and in hindsight i think you are probably right, but when i was doing it, for some reason i wanted him to look straight at you..
Can't change it though, cause right now on vacation and all i have is my notebook, which struggles with forum posts already, not to mention 3d
Zipfinator - yes! SLIMEface was so kind and added some glow now!
Hey branch, i didn't use any special tools other then creasing my low poly base mesh in the beginning to keep those clean edges when subdividing.
Afterwards it's all just inflating masks to get those extrudes, slash_3 for scratches, hpolish to clean up some areas and get those hammered parts and some clay and standard brush here and there (eye area ie.).
So, sometimes you realise what you liked the day before, you don't like the next one, another quick update for today, as well as some first steps for the bracer slot.
This is still work in progress though and might change completely next week
It looks worse on those gifs than it actually looks ingame, but i have to agree with you, it looks a bit muddy and more details got lost than i would have liked for. Some things to consider when working on my next items

Current progress for you guys:
You can show it some love here: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=166877290
I think the promo image can use a better pose, show the silhouette of the head as that what makes your set looks cool.

Slowly making progress on my hard surface sculpting skills:
What's the matcap?
The matcap is cmt_deep_bronze, it's from the pixologic download section / metal.
