Hi there guys,
having some difficulties with reprojecting in zbrush.

I created a high poly tool (700k polys) and then retopo it inside zbrush.

When i tried to reproject the details back but i'm having this issue, mostly in the left side.

original

leftside

rightside

I thrown it in Max and reseted the axis but with no sucess. The high poly tool isn't symmetrical.

Is that the reason for those artfacts? Any tip to solve that?

Thx for any help.

Adjust the projection shell size and projection distance mainly, but also finker with the farthest / outer / inner toggles.

    What cryid said ^^

Also... something I didn't realize for a long time... but using ProjectAll on all the subD levels usually works way better than just projecting on the highest. Start at the lowest and work your way up. You can probably skip a few in between if you have alot of levels. Smooth/sculpt out the artifacts as you go will help too.

OK cryrid, will adjust projection size and distance and see what i get. Never touched those values to be honest.

Nyx702, i tried to do from base to top but those issues were projecting from the lowest levels. When i got to the highest, one side of the face were totally wrecked.

    thx for the input guys!
