How should we handle all this new space?

So now that Polycount has designated us a whole forum all to ourselves how should we go about using it?

Should we just continue as normal just posting in the Workshop thread?
Perhaps each artist can open up their own thread and update it with new work?
Or we could make a new thread for each project?

Whichever way we do it, this is very cool indeed.

Waywo type thread like the workshop thread, but I would love to start making a massive dump thread of the stuff I work on as I work on it too. Easier to link it on other sites too

Agreed this is fantastic, the single thread however great it has been was starting to feel pretty crowded. I think individual threads however they are approached will at least lead to more direct and helpful criticism and all the goods mentioned above ^

What about a WAYWO thread or if you want like the sketchbook thread and have YOUR NAME - DOTA2 WORKSHOP WIP?

Cause yeah Anuxi and a few of you could have your own threads to link too. But it would also be nice for people starting out to use a WAYWO thread too.

Sketchbook type would work out well to avoid clutter, and a WAYWO thread for everything else.And maybe a sticky for finished works categorized by hero types?str,int,agi,miscellaneous items like wards/couriers..

Yeah. That's not a bad idea having threads for each character. It would be great to see everything for one character in one place.

this should turn the dota people their own little tight-knit polycount sub-community - which the one big in P&P was a little too cluttered to do. I'm super excited to be jumping into this right about now - seems like good timing

I'm extremely excited about this! I was just about to mention this to moderators last week because the main thread was becoming too frustrating. I was never getting feedback and I think people rarely saw their feedback from me either. I felt like I HAD to quote someone with their image included just so they'd know my reply was pertaining to their work, then when everyone started doing that there'd just be 5 pages a day and it was too much! I'm super excited about this. I also like the idea of having a thread for every hero.

I think it's neat having treads for each artist but is it necessary to say dota2 thread afterwards.. considering it's the dota2 subforum? just thought it was funny.

Hahah yeah when I was making it I was thinking it was a bit redundant. I might change mine, I dun like the way it rolls off the eyes.
