Looks like a talented team coming up with a pretty sweet project, gorgeous concept art so far, and Guillermo del Toro just announced he is collaborating with the team, perhaps to make an accompanying film?
I love the look of the game, and have backed it, but $750k is terribly unrealistic and they don't have a hope of reaching it. I suspect they'll struggle to raise $150k.
I thought it looked great, too - and i'll likely drop a bit on it - but yeah, 750K is a pretty hefty goal for a "lesser known" studio. I hope they make it - but 10% in 9 days or so doesn't look promising for them.

This is an interesting issue with Kickstarter. Many games are highly undervalued. $750.000 is not at all an excessive budget. It comes down to about a dozen or so people working on it for a year, which for an action RPG like this is... not a whole lot.
It's similar to how the $0.99 iOS model is wreaking havoc on the DS/Vita, I think.
That looks sick! The animation is great and I love what they are planning in terms of developing your golem; seem genuinely deep. Also worried they won't get it funded, hope they can carry on with their project even if it doesn't.
The latest update has some verrrry sweet concept art. Still just under $80k with 18 days to go. The momentum of the Kickstarter campaign is looking questionable unfortunately.
It comes across as a cool idea, but for the number of people involved to have nothing more than a bunch of concept art to show kept me from wanting to chip in on that one.

del Torro is looking tired.
I'm happy to answer any questions about the project!
lets see how it turns out
