Low poly TBS style soldier mobile game character (Please Critique)

Hey everyone. This is meant to be a punk-like marine character for a turn based strategy game for the android phone.
Most of the time he's taking up at most a 16th of the screen size.
I tried to make him look really modern while at trying to give him a sort of punk/animalistic feel.
Any feedback/advice/critique would be greatly appreciated, as I'm going re-texturing all the assets for this game and I need to get it right as soon as possible so I don't have to re-fix things much.

Not sure where we're going with that, lol.
It's a valid point seeing as most people seem to be right handed.
I really hope there's some other advice though... ;D no much I can do about his hand choice..
