Hello all. So over the past nine weeks I've been working on this off and on as a school project. My history prof was nice enough to allow me to make a game instead of a boring old written timeline. I do realize that this isn't the most amazing thing in the world, but I did make it all by hand and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I know the environment models don't have any textures (besides a bit of normal mapping). This is mainly because of deadlines and performance (still not sure if this'll run well on my his macbook). Anywho, mainly I wanted to try and find the best workflow for developing in Unity, and I think I have it nailed down now. I learned many things through the mistakes I made and I'll end up working through future projects much faster because of it.

I was aiming for a more atmospheric type game, so I spent a lot of time tweaking sound and lighting. The scene itself is sort of like a walkway that would exist in some type of futuristic underground facility that keeps records of history.

Here's the project (it's around 30 megs zipped):

Linux version (If you actually use this one, I would like to know :poly124:): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/52004724/TimelineLinux.zip

Enjoy! :)
