I recently finished this Luger for part of my portfolio.
I learned quite a bit with this project. My main focus was to create a good hipoly model that would produce a solid bake.

i would change the way you present it though, the lights arent doing the textures any favors.
you should also show off the high poly
How would you advise setting up the lighting? I have a lot of troubles with this. I have no problems with re-rendering if its really hurting the texture that badly. Its rendered in marmoset, forgot to mention that
Here is images of the hipoly and the bake. But note, these images are from before I added the extra detail into the normal map. I wasn't planning on showing them, so I do not have anything better prepared!
