Hello guys! I'm Peter Kyuyoung Lee, an environment artist for games.
This is my thesis project I'm working on.
I want to make a cinematic video in Unreal Development Kit.
The story is about 10 year-old girl who has lived in a noble family at 19th Century.
Her parents are very strict people. They always decide what the girl has to do. They don't care about her opinion.
She loves her parents and she doesn't want let them down. But the other side of her heart, she dearly wants to go outside and explore all over the world.
One day, her bird escapes from a cage and the girl tries to catch it.
She follows the bird and sees the wonderful sight. It is The Zeppelin Show in the street. The street fills with happiness and wonderment. Airships are flying around and people are enjoying the show.
That is beginning of her journey.

I finished making a statue. It is Mr.Zeppelin who invented airships.
Here is some idea sketches and textures.
On the left, there is a real sculpture of Zeppelin. I tried to sculpt it like same as possible and changed to my style.
I use grid to make modular assets.
Here is its modeling and normal map textures.
The normal texture for the building1 has almost done.
Before putting color on it, I want to make another building.
This is building2 modeling and its sketch.
And here is some prop skeches.
Keep it up! Excited for this one. Dont be put off with the lack of responses as well. As said in another post recently, Polycount: The amazing praised and the "meh's" are torn apart, the middle men just glanced at.
Some reflection materials are not correct. Hmmmm...
If you have some good tutorial videos or good tips, please let me know.
I made bench and drew some idea sketches for buildings.
I put more details on the tile textures.
And I'm doing topology work on the ship.
I finished the high-polygon modeling 6 months ago, but still making low-polygon for better performance.
Actually, I'm little bit bored to work in the same project almost a year and half. And I keep in my mind my ultimate goal : make cinematic movie in UDK.
@Bardler
Thank you
@Walrus, @Shyralon
I realized that I couldn't make 19th Century European street without visiting the location.
So, I've been London and Paris last month for 10 days. It was great experience to feel and see the location that I'm going to make.
@bluekangaroo
It would take for a looooooong time to finish it. I made biggest plan that I'd never tried. Even the plan included making a character and a interior shot
