Wooden Cart WIP

Hi all, so I've finally stopped putting off this thread. Here is a cart I have been working on recently.

Eventually this is for a larger environment I will be working on, however I was looking forward to making this piece in particular, so thought I would start here.

I've started texturing and mashing out some colours for the model, however I keep coming back to bits I need to edit on the model as well as the normal map. The ropes for example are placement until I'm certain I want them in there.

Anyway, I will be working on this and changing it regularly I'm sure, but thought I'd share and hopefully get some feedback and crit highlighting bits I'm certain I've overlooked.

I'll stick a couple of props in here as well, to show what the cart would be carrying.

Nice! Looking forward to seeing your old scene updated to this quality. Couple of things I spotted early on: the wooden panels on your crate, the same pieces horizontal pieces are repeated, so the re-use of texture is noticeable and so are the repeating gaps.

The barrel, I think I can spot the seems on the 4 middle metal straps, mainly because the seems align on a wooden join and my eye goes to it. Might wanna make sure the metal bits don't show a seam.

Overall the metal in places could do with being improved a bit. Maybe make 'em pop a little more.
