Hey guys, I have a problem with a custom character in UDK. I have fully scripted him in ect with new gametype blah blah but I always have the problem of him floating in the air, I found a hacky fix to this by moving it down in Max and re-exporting the mesh but doesn't seem quite right. Was wondering if it's a common problem or something I didn't do the in the FBX option ect

I´m completley new here and i don´t how to post realy, hope there is someone reading this.
Please can someone help me out with a problem on a Skeletal mesh I´ve created so far.
The Problem is that my rig is always out of the Characters mesh.
And i don´t know how to fix this Problem.
I´m working with maya 2010 and UDK 2013 (latest version) so i can´t use fbx and i´ve to working with actorx and axmain.
If so follow Hellfire's advice, if you look at Cathodes skeletal mesh, his Origin Z is set in the negative so that the part with the most mass is in the middle of the ground plane. The physics asset takes care of it when he spawns.
