Greetings,
I'm a bloody Beginner in 3D Modelling and I'm going through a lot of Tutorials. So, first you'll see lots of Tutorial Work stuff and after that, I'll try to make something on my own. I'm not as good as some other Creative Heads here, but I hope to get better soon
So, here is my first Object made in Blender, an Axe based on a Blendercookie Tutorial:
Next Step: Texturing this thing. Critics are welcome

At the moment i'm doing some pretty Basic Stuff like Modeling a M4 to learn detailed HardSurface Modeling. I've loaded almost every Tutorial on Blendercookie and working my way through it Hard Stuff sometimes, but it is coming along nicely
The Modeling issn't my greatest fear, it is the Texturing xD
Slowly but steady I've made around one week pause on this one, working on other things to learn a bit more about Hard Surface Modeling.
Tried to made an Ikea Cup, but failed always on the Handle xD
Just add a Plane (and size it up ) beneath your Object, you wan't to Render.
Change your Horizon Color to a nice Color you Like.
Add your Plane a Material and change the Shadow Settings to "Cast Only"
Now change your Light to a Sun Spot and move it to a appropriate Position, click Render and there you go
