D11 Bulldozer

Hey guys, just getting started on my next project, a D11 Cat Bulldozer! This is part of a series of school assignments, so I should be working on it regularly for the next month or so. Anyway, here's some shots of where I'm at, with more to come as I go.

Not sure where I want to go with this, the assignment is just for a high poly, and I have some other pressing stuff in que for afterwards, so I'm not sure I'll see it past the high poly, for now at least. I was thinking of shortening the bits jutting out from the treads to be more easily baked, or actually modeling them in and experiment with a looping animation of the geometry, instead of the usual scrolling UVs, like are usually done on tank treads. That is, if I get to that point on this model.


Anyway, front end is more or less detailed up, and have just started modeling the cab and surrounding area. Really excited for the finished model.
