Hi guys, title is the question. I saw an amazing video of someone using bodypaint in Cinema 4D and saw some plguins for 3DSmax that allows it. Is there a way to do projection painting for maya? Even if it includes Photoshop. It would be pretty useful and interesting to use. Thanks!

Closest thing I know of that Autodesk encourages is the use of Mudbox, which actually has an amazing polypainting workflow. I believe they make it quite easy to transfer meshes back and forth if both are installed.

It's called 3d paint tool. Though it doesn't work like projecting textures on to it (at least the last time I used it years ago). [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90vZCmOtK_I"]0613 Using the 3D paint tools.mov - YouTube[/ame]
