VideoCard issue

VideoCard- GeForce 9600 GT
I have problems with painting textures in such programs like Mari(very slow) Mudbox(refuse to instal) nDo,dDo(always crashes)
Zbrush,Maya work good.

Do I have problem with my Video Card or it is OK?

I tried the new driver a couple weeks earlier and my computer started to crash without any reason. So I recover the old driver.

sounds to me like your graphics card reached the end of its lifecycle

Possible that your card is too old to be supported by Mari and Mudbox.

Mari ran like molasses when I had a 512mb 8800gt.

What video card can you recommend me to support such programms(mudbox, ndo). Not very expensive.

I doubt the installer would fail because your GPU is old (which it isn't really)

I'd say more likely bad RAM or a failing PSU.

But zbrush and maya and marmoset work fine.

When was the last time you re-installed windows?

Have you actually tested your RAM then or are you just assuming it couldn't possibly be that.

I can of course reinstall my OS(i installed it 1 year ago) Or start to test every part of my computer. But I haven't problems with all my programms(I have a lot of them installed) except Mudbox, Mari and nDo(dDo). These programs are similar in the way- they paint textures directly on the UVs and visualise on the 3d model. Mudbox gives a message that my videocard doesn't support it(mudbox)
But my VC is rather powerful(GeForce 9600 with 1024 RAM) So I am afraid I'll bought another one and nothing will change.

Contact product support for those programs, and ask what hardware they suggest.
