porous rock in zbrush

Hey my wonderful artist friends :)

It's been a while since I've used Zbrush, since my last job didn't have it in the office (nooooooo!). I needed to get back into the action, so I decided to start with a tilable rock texture.

This is a porous rock based on photo references of mainly lava rock, though some of my references could possibly be of other types of rock which are also porous. Here is What I have so far:

One challenge in doing a porous rock texture is dealing with all of the high-frequency detail. In some of the photo references, it is kind of like a big wall of noise. So I tried to leave some areas of kinda-sorta negative space to give it more balance. What do you guys think so far?
