Hi So I am in my final year of my course, and have started to work on a Game design I have created.
This is the first character to be produced so far, all models are going to have hand painted texture's, The concept for the character was drawn up by a co-worker.

Ok so a quick update, just wanted some opinions on the uvw mapping, as this is my pretty much my first textured character, im wondering if im doing the maps efficiantly

We might be able to help if you posted a checkerboarded model on p3d.in for us to look at as well to judge the UV deformations, etc.

Apologies for the checkered map, i had to quickly mock one up and the bottom left and right of the checkered are slightly cut off.
