You guys might have seen my little project to make some asset packs and sell them on my site. Main reason being is that i want to sell them on my own terms not the terms of the various asset stores around, and i want to be able to make fairly large very expansive sets, and be able to update them and send the updates to buyers.
I was just wondering is anyone could recommend some shopping cart systems that would be appropriate.
So i need it to be able to set a pay what you want with a minimum purchase, be able to track the email addresses of everyone that bought it, and i also need a way of authenticating a download link.
I'm not sure the best way to go about any of this stuff. Does anyone have any experience with it?

never used it..not sure of the particulars
I'm not sure about Gumroad or Digital Delivery app, but the main problem is that BMT Micro and FastSpring will both create expiring download links for your customers, which will in turn leave you with angry customers.
Most of the stuff below is focused on selling indie games, but I think a lot of the same things will apply to artists selling assets.
Check out this blog post about digital distribution done right by indie developer Sophie Houlden, be sure to read the comments below the main post especially the ones by Sos Sosowski.
One other thing to consider is setting up an affilate network with other artists doing the same thing to drive more traffic/sales.
A thread on TIGSource about payment processors and people's experiences with them.
Also fairly relavent a pair of blog posts by indie developer Cliff Harris: How to sell your game online without using an app-store and Cliffskis 2012 guide to advertising your indie PC game online (worth checking out for the stuff about Google AdWords).
A humorous (but serious) take on shopping carts by the Oatmeal: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/shopping_cart
Good luck!
It's hard to find this info in amongst all the normal shopping stuff.
Just have to work out if i can send out updated files with it or not.
Edit: they have a system for it!
Swoon.
