I'll be there nerding it up with a bunch of dweebs. We should have a lil meetup or something afterwards one of the nights. I'm only going Fri and Sunday because Saturday was sold out, but I live pretty close so hit me up if you want to grab some brewskies.
It's coming up in a little under a month so I figured I bump the topic back up, I'll be there all 3 days networking and moseying about. When you guys figure out more details for a PC meetup, I'll be there!
Just an FYI there's going to be a big PAX party with a bunch of game devs from Boston at it on the 21st. If you want more info send me a PM, it's a free event but they're keeping the links/promo code private.
I'll be there all three days... volunteering friday and saturday at the MEGABOOTH and then showing my game at the new MINIBOOTH on sunday (www.indiemegabooth.com).
Also, I'll be talking at a panel on Saturday at 4pm in the Naga Theater (www.bestpanelever.com).You all should come!
The Westin Hotel is connected to the convention center, and has a nice lobby. Starbucks, an Irish pub, etc. Drinks and eats are a little pricey (like, $8 for a ham sammich). But it's super convenient, and you're quickly out of the noise and into a cushy chair.
Is anyone just hanging out tonight and fancy a drink? I gave my actual pass away since I'll be in Montreal this weekend but would love to meet you fine gents.
I'd be up for checking out the Harpoon Brewery after. 8 or 9pm something like that. Got a car, if anyone needs a ride. Shoot me a text, or call, 9784950475.
Let's get PCrs together tonight for eats or drinks. Meet at 7pm in the Westin lobby, I'll be wearing an orange long sleeve shirt. Or text me. I'm up for whatever. I'll be heading to the Wildstar party at 9 or so, if anyone wants to crash it (got 1 ticket from a friend).
i went in friday, had dinner with a coworker, then gave my 3-day pass to a friend and went home. the show was really underwhelming for me and i saw pretty much everything there was to see in like an hour. tbh none of it really interested me from the start so maybe it's just me.
i ain't driving into boston again. the rest of my weekend will be enjoyed working on arcade hardware.
Naw, I bailed. Headed home to the wife and kids instead, brought them some sweets from the "Flour" bakery I mentioned. Thanks for the ticket though (I hope Rick uses his!).
I enjoyed seeing you up there on the 38 panel today, that was very inspirational. Seeing you guys living and sweating the dream helps me keep my own perspective straight. Good stuff. Looking forward to playing your game tomorrow!
Justin, wish you were here man, we could have hit the brewery. I'm going to get there at some point though, it sounds great.

My after-hours schedule is getting pretty tight, but if everyone sets a hangout time, I'll try my best to make it
Sounds great! I'd love to meet some PC folks. Most of the local boston gamedev meetups are pretty devoid of artists.

I'll be hanging out in the lobby Friday around lunchtime. Probably wearing a dark blue baseball hat that says Blue Fang on it.
Let's get drunk.
Harpoon Brewery. Good beer. No food really, unless you want to fill up on pretzels.

Flour has awesome veggie sandwiches. But it's tiny, best to get yours to go.
