Saving a Group in photoshop as the alpha channel on export?

Hi guys,
Someone in the hangouts told me that there was a tool in the wiki somewhere that I could use in order to save a group of layers (Based on naming conventions) in photoshop to the alpha channel as I export a Targa but I can't seem to find anything.
Does anyone have any idea where I could find something like this?
