We have a new lesson for you to learn how to bring mocap animation into Houdini from the Mixamo.com website and add a Cloth simulation

This should answer some of your questions regarding the size of the character when it is imported into Houdini and includes strategies for caching out sequences and prepping your files for rendering. It also includes the setup of a simple skirt as a cloth sim in Houdini.

i can't merge the takes... if i try to drag one take over another, a little cross appears at the cursor and nothing happens...
maybe someone knows my problem and the solution.
many thanks in advance
update:i just did not pay attention to the video now i know how to do it thanks:)
I have a lot of detail transparency in my costume (lace) that I'd like to render with a normal map to save poly budget. In Maya I'd use an alpha map and tangent space normals for details. Is this sort of thing possible (i'm sure it is) in Mantra or should I rethink my approach?
Thanks again for your extra effort helping with this contest!
