I'm using 3ds max 2010 and I've recently installed Windows 8.
I've taken some screenshots:
Well, I'm not sure what's causing it, but it's getting very annoying! After a few minutes of messing around in Max a section of the view port freezes and there isn't anyway to unfreeze it, if I minimize Max the frozen parts of the view port still display on the screen.
I've tied different graphic settings, such as DirectX and OpenGL, but it still happens. The 64bit version is fine, however I can't use this as the plugs-ins I need to use for materials and exporting only work in 32Bit.
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas because I'm really stuck.
Thank you!
Cheers,
Mike

Also, try enabling Redraw Scene on Window Expose.
