Wow what a coincidence. I was thinking about this today. When UP was active we had a thread where we would post pictures of real-life scenes and rip them apart lol... I was going to start one here sometime this week when I found a good example.
Yeah, that's the thing we have to remember when making stuff. Often, things that appears round, isn't really, like for example you see a curved building with windows. its not really curved, but a lot of sections (edges) which is angled different with each step.
Like this one is curved (well, the brick sized curved):
While this one just appear curved, each section turned a little. It's not like the glass is curved or anything, its a flat piece:
