I have been having some problems with using alpha channels to create transparency in my textures.
Maya
When alpha channels are applied, faces on my models start to become transparent in random places and displaying meshes further in the distance instead of closer faces.
UDK
When I import my meshes into udk and then apply my textures the mesh becomes transparent unless I am inside it. When inside the mesh it becomes solid, as if the normals have reversed.
