Back to basics - Normal map black lines error

Hi guys,

I know this is a pretty common problem and I've seen tons of discussion topics about it. Just wanted to venture into it again to make sure I'm not crazy. Keeping in mind I haven't done this in a while.

Anyway, I'm getting black lines on my AO and normal map. No smoothing groups are added and uvs shells are not stitched. Weird thing is, when I went to create another high poly cube (green), i then applied a turbo smooth on it with no material map. I noticed I got the same black line on certain edges when I did a quick render - that one i didn't bake or anything - just created it from scratch. I even created the default teapot but didn't see anything major except for default viewport shadows streaks.

Is this normal? or is there some kind of viewport lighting affecting the baking?

Do I have to use a skylight with light tracer turned on? I tried various tricks on other objects and keep getting these black lines.
