Incredibly annoying 3dsMax 2012 viewport issue.

Was wondering if anyone encountered this, or if this a bug specific to my video card/hardware setup. This has only started happening recently.

Essentially, in Nitrous, Max omits drawing certain edges, seemingly at random, while displaying triangulation on others for no reason. This problem goes away when I go under edit poly/sub-object mode, so it's not really an issue while modeling, but it is huge annoying when placing objects, especially when trying to work with the grid.

Things I have tried:
Reverting from Nitrous to Direct3d, this gives rise to the issue of max not displaying verts, even when I have the size turned up.

-Restarting Max.

-Creating a new document and importing the geometry into that.

-All drivers are up to date.

My Video Card is Radeon HD6950. Never have any other issues with it, and this only started being a problem recently.

Screenshot of what I mean (The plane in the back is all quads, as are the bent cylinders):

Do you have the latest product updates installed? Does this file open up fine on another machine? Do ATI delivers offer a clean install option like Nvidia?

Every ATI card I've used has had issues with 3ds Max.

Hmn, I never considered the product updates. I'm running a student version, so I didn't think I was going to be able to take advantage of those, but I just installed the latest service pack, and it *seems* to have resolved the issue. Thanks!
