I'll start off with an environment piece I just recently finished. Based off the concept from Natural Selection 2.

Your perspective is quite good. You need to focus a little more on the tiny details with it though.
Something's look flat and don't stick out enough.
Lose the lines all going in one direction. Looks like you put a photoshop filter over an image.

Yeah its still a wip, hoping to get alot of the detail work done in the next couple of days.
By the lines do you mean the roof and the boardwalk?

I believe it's your shading lines. They are on the walls. You need to break them up, blur or some lines in other directions but be carful with that last one. For some reason it just looks off to me.
