Hello all!
My name is Chris and I'm new around these parts.
I've arted my whole life, but have been doing 3D for 4-ish years or so, working on commercials, (small) games/apps and other various freelance things, mainly as an animator. I've been a long-time user of Polycount; but, for some reason haven't jumped in with an account until now. Hoping to learn a lot and help others where I can.
Aaannyways- I've been working on this here Batman and would really appreciate your feedback. I've yet to tinker with the belt much, but any comments/criticisms would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks everyone!
Chris

Ha- I suppose he does look similar in some ways. I was hoping to take some of my favorite elements from past designs and sort of mash them together into a very visceral-feeling Batman.
Batmanning through Europe would be seriously awesome. Now I want to make Bat-Goggles for him. Haha
You should be proudof yourself!
you should animate him and give him an idle pose and post the gif here.
@ eMotive11: Frank Miller's Batman is so awesome. It was definitely an inspiration for what I'm working on. I pre-ordered the second movie- all kinds of excited.
@ butt_sahib: I appreciate the compliments! My endgame is to definitely have him fully animated. Here's a little storyboard/concept/doodle- thing, I did in preparation.
Still have yet to render out a turn-table, so I would really appreciate ANY critiques you may have on lighting/presentation/whatever.
As always, critiques welcome!
Is he going to jumping off his spotlight, because that will be amazing.
@ Lavitz: You got it man, thanks!

@ TigerGD: Yeah, I initially had iris/pupils but he ended up looking kind of like a cosplayer instead of the Dark Knight. So I switched them to white, sort of a stylistic choice.
