Where do this minecraft textures came from?

Hey all.

I found these images in a reference bin folder at work and went to ask the fella who put them there who posted them and on what site, but he could only recall finding them on the what are you working on 2012 edition post.

Has anyone seen these?



They look really neat, (except for that bikini..) I'd love to have these in game

I had a good look through using the forum's search features coupled with google and still couldn't find the original post, So I havn't been able to find a way to download them.

What did you type in? I couldn't find it.. I typed in a great combination of things like:

"polycount" "minecraft" "baddies"

"polycount" "minecraft" "textures"

site:polycount.com "witch" "minecraft" "textures"

the image search.

images.google.com

upload/drag an image into the search and you can literally search with the image itself.

EDIT: I did know about google images though... who doesn't know that...

I also using Firefox and got the TinEye add-on, which allow you to rightclick a image in the browser and use TinEye to find any matches. Did a quick look in the add-ons and saw there is also one for google image.

I was gonna post, but Eld beat me to it. But yeah, it's my pack, the Wayukian pack.

In order to see the different variant textures for each model you do need the MCPatcher mod installed: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1496369-13w04a-147update-127-mcpatcher-hd-fix-245-02-300-beta4/

The thong zombie is set up to be a rare easter egg version if you have MCPatcher.

If you don't have MCPatcher, only one version of each mob will show up.

Fantastic job demonprincess, in my opinion this is far, far better than the original minecraft texture pack! This brings so much more readability and character and charm into minecraft and you aught to be proud

I haven't seen something this well designed since John smith texture pack.

It's a great pack, I just wish it was a little higher res
I like running 32x textures, the 16x are just a little too pixely for me.

Are the meshes a bit too blocky for you too? ;P

Amazing job Demon; will the animated water and lava work without that patcher now that the game supports animated textures?

I have not yet invested in a copy of Minecraft but when I do this texture pack will be getting installed right away.

I prefer the John Smith 32x pack. It's still pixel art, but it looks a little cleaner. I'd use this pack, if it were 32x.

When I started my pack, 32x packs weren't properly supported yet. That's why I went with 16x. The mobs are double res though, since that has always been supported by vanilla Minecraft.

Indeed, the next version of Minecraft will support animated water and lava. I'm currently working on making my pack up to date with the upcoming version, which will be Minecraft 1.5.

At that point, you will have to redownload the pack, because the old version will be incompatible. Be sure to check my topic for all the latest updates on my pack:

Yes! I already finished the snowman and the wolves for the update. I hope to finish the ocelots as well before 1.5 comes out, maybe more if I can manage.
