I need to start practicing some hard surface modeling to fill out my skill set. So I thought I'd try my hand at one of those way-cool sci-fi space suits. I've seen some amazing examples around here recently that really made me want to give it a shot (I'm looking at you, Hazardous).
So here's what I'm working on. No concept, just sort of winging it.
Looks like a solid start. I think the head is slightly too big at the moment and is throwing the rest of the body off.
She would look more lady like if she had wider hips as well as I initially thought she was a dude until I looked closer at the chest, a lot of that is down to the lack of hair though haha
Check out this video to get some ideas about practical space suits. It's totally feasible to have a form-fitting suit by adding some reinforcement around contours to enhance functionality, while accentuating her anatomy.
