I think you have to improve on your anatomy

The face of the character is actually quite well done.
But the figure itself, the proportion of it will have to improved.

Some things to care are the fingers that are too long.
The shape of the shoes, the arch of the toes are too much and also the direction of where the shoes are pointing now.

Your upper body now look too stump compared to his lower body.

So basically, you have to really improve on your anatomy.

Thank you DEDE, had to come here earlier for feedback as the exam is on monday :D how about the maps? and ye i know i have to improve on my anatomy it's only my second assignment that involves anatomy but i'm definatly going to improve that.

    some observations:
The UV space isnt very efficient, try squeezing those UV islands of heads hands and torso closer together.
    Texturing is quite nice.
    Anatomy in sculpt lacks definition
CLothing folds are slightly too smooth and curved.

    Otherwise, good job :)

Yup, agreed with what Ravanna say, the uv space isnt used efficiently.

    Your texturing is ok.

But some pointer to keep note.

    1) There dirt and blood stains all arund the shirt but not the rest ? The jacket should have some level of stains to make it interesting I guess. Even the iron on on the jacket are way too clean and thus new looking.

    2) I notice that the stains on the sleeves, the shapes are abit too constant. keep in mind that when painting all the weathering and stains, we have to "randomize" the shapes of them also to make it interesting looking.

Had my exam today and it went pretty well, the teachers liked it as a first character. they said exactly what you guys said about the UV space, but they didn't mind that much as you learn from your mistakes. And thanks again DEDE_pig and Ravanna for the feedback!
