I love it. There´s just something about the shadows/highlight on the clothes that feels a bit weird (I guess it´s the puffy "shoulders" that feel a bit glossy and too dark where it meets the gloves) - but at the same time it kinda works together. Would love to see a whole army of these in a style-matching scene.
Nice man! I really like the brush strokes, the reflection on the brass is cool too. I agree with Hayden that the gloves seem a bit unsaturated. The boundary between the leather hilt and the leather gloves seems slightly off to me for that reason, although I would imagine making the materials look too similar would also have that not read well. Maybe have the gloves be a more shiny version of the leather on the hilt? Also the index finger on his left hand seems to be bent in a weird way on the marmoset render.
He's so chubby sweet, and his "I'm sour, not chubby sweet" attitude only adds to it! I like the a bit rough handpainted feel of the texture map, it gives the style more character in my opinion compared to if the brush strokes were super smoothed out. Also checked out the artist who made the concept and spent a while going through his stuff, thanks for the link!
